As the owner of Cruz Investments & Wealth Management, founded in 1985, Rey Cruz is focused on helping clients work toward their retirement dreams through a well-thought-out strategy for retirement income.

As the creator of the “Cruzing Into Retirement™” System, Rey has been helping individuals and families prepare for and enjoy their ideal retirement since 1985. He believes clients need a professional who will be their financial partner — one who will provide written recommendations to reach their desired retirement and financial goals and who has a team in place for communication and execution. Rey is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional and has a bachelor’s degree from Aurora University. He has passed the Series 6, 7, 24 and 63 securities exams and holds life, health, long-term care and annuity insurance licenses in Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Arizona and North Carolina.

Rey has been an active leader in the Aurora community for many years. He has served on the Fox Valley Park District Board, Greater Aurora Chamber of Commerce Board, the Aurora Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board, the Provena Mercy Foundation Board and the Aurora University Alumni Board. He currently serves as a board member for the Aurora Housing Authority.

In his free time, Rey enjoys music, golf, computers, the Indy 500, coaching baseball and playing cards. He and his wife, Monica, have been married since 1991 and have two children, Christian and Carissa.
